THE APPARTMENT_ A balearic penthouse

The project redefines the existing space by unveiling a previously hidden pitched double-height roof, transforming the spatial experience and enhancing functionality. By demolishing the original layout, the intervention introduces a lofted second room above the kitchen area, maximizing the available volume and creating a dynamic interplay of levels.

The interior reflects the essence of Balearic vernacular architecture, characterized by crisp white surfaces that amplify natural light and a sense of openness. This aesthetic is grounded by a continuous polished concrete floor, providing a seamless and contemporary foundation. Bespoke timber elements add warmth and texture, creating a harmonious balance between tradition and modernity. The result is a refined yet approachable living space that celebrates both heritage and innovation.
