Set in a privileged location in Málaga, next to a golf resort yet distinctly removed from its neighbors, this house emerges from the unique opportunity to explore form and landscape in an exceptional way.
The distance from the immediate context allowed us to envision an independent and powerful volume. As the interior program was arranged, the geometry of the project naturally evolved into an elliptical floor plan—a form that brings character, fluidity, and harmony. This decision also opened the possibility of incorporating a second elliptical gesture at the heart of the house: an interior courtyard that not only introduces natural light into all living spaces but also becomes a central visual and atmospheric focus.
While the house opens itself to the distant views of the Andalusian landscape, it also turns dramatically inward toward the elliptical courtyard. Here, a minimalist landscape design featuring native vegetation creates a serene and contemplative atmosphere, offering residents an intimate retreat filled with calm and light.
The Elliptical House is therefore conceived as an architecture both powerful in its form and delicate in its experience, uniting openness to the horizon with the introspection of a luminous inner garden.
