CONTINUUM HOUSE_ conveying continuity and organic
GRANADA, SPAIN, 2025
Set on a 568 m² flat plot in the La Loma development, the house takes shape from its immediate surroundings. Curved boundaries to the north and south open the building toward the east, where distance from neighboring plots allows wide views and abundant natural light throughout the day.
A sculptural porch marks the entrance, acting as both threshold and connector. Its concave side shelters parking, while the convex side embraces the stair to the upper floor. The interplay of curved walls creates a sense of openness, guiding the view through the interior toward the garden and expanding the perception of space.
At the core of the ground floor lies a fluid, open living area. A central kitchen-table anchors daily life, complemented by a generous lounge that flows outward to a shaded porch—the true heart of the home during warm seasons. A pool at the back of the plot extends the perspective and reinforces the depth of the garden.
Upstairs, the bedrooms open to distant views through large windows, framing the landscape and linking the private realm to the surrounding nature.
The project embodies an architecture of curved, enveloping gestures that connect light, space, and landscape—balancing interior and exterior living in the Mediterranean spirit of Granada.
