Located at the intersection of the Retiro Park and the Salamanca district, this office renovation reimagines a traditional compartmentalized layout into a fluid and contemporary workspace. The intervention focuses on unlocking the spatial potential of the site through a series of strategic demolitions, removing multiple internal partitions to create a single, open-plan environment that supports modern, collaborative ways of working.

At the heart of the intervention lies the design and installation of a bespoke 3D-printed interior skin. This element, meticulously fabricated and assembled to measure, adapts to the geometry of the tower’s central core, transforming the existing structural framework into a contemporary architectural feature. Far from being a purely decorative gesture, the skin provides a dynamic dialogue between technology and space, where digital design and additive manufacturing processes become tools to achieve both precision and uniqueness.

The project is complemented by a collection of bespoke stone furniture pieces, each crafted to reinforce the material narrative and provide sculptural yet functional anchors within the open space. These elements, together with the clarity of the layout, lend the office a sense of calm, permanence, and spatial coherence.

At the heart of the design lies a services wall, a functional and architectural spine that houses all mechanical systems. This linear element not only consolidates technical infrastructure
but also defines the spatial rhythm of the new office.
